I am currently a first-year student, pursuing my M.P.S. at NYU ITP (interactive telecommunications program). I graduated Carnegie Mellon University in 2018 with a B.S. in physics/astrophysics track and a minor in physical computing. I’m interested in radio astronomy and observing the formation of the universe. Previously, I conducted radio astronomy research, where I focused on running antenna pattern simulations and assisted other researchers on my team in completing their tasks and projects.
I want to combine my scientific background with my fascination in art and technology to create collaborative projects, environments, and experiences. I also like to get my hands dirty by physically constructing objects and structures. I like to combine the worlds of arts and science/math by creating generative art that utilizes mathematical transformations.
In my free time, I like to create patterns and animations using Illustrator, After Effects and p5.js
